If you were near penticton I would sell you some of my norinco stuff.

Thanks, but I'd probably drive into the ditch on the way up, stupid winter:mad:

Any ways, does anyone know if the Hungarian 7.62 is corrosive?I saw some at a local gun shop, and they claimed it was non corrosive, or at least none of their customers complained about it.

Its out there, you can find it at some gun shows and such. Alot of people are sitting on their supply. I just picked up a couple thousand rounds of Wolf in Alabama last month because I couldn't find more here.

i was in the store the other week and asked about that ammo, what they showed me was the czech blue box stuff on stripper clips for $3.99 and american eagle for something like $11 or $12.99. the guy at the counter said they only had those two kinds of 7.62x39

Well yes, its perfectly legal for me to transport ammo on my ship. It requires a memo to the CO and his permission of course. I don't do it often and have to keep it under the 5000 round mark.

But you could still be in the #### if some interested US law enforcement wanted to have a chat with you between the gunshop and the dock...

Thats true, however the chances some cop will pick me up on a ammo charge that deep into the states are pretty remote. I pay with cash and the shops I buy from don't exactly like the federal government. I would more worry around the border and crossing over it, but I don't have to. I'v even been to some of the most secure bases in the world, told the base guards what was in the back, waved me through.
