Poorly translated manuals is the main reason why I'd never trust shooting a commercial-grade chinese. firearm; if the quality control is so piss-poor that they can't properly translate a user's manual into the most popular international language (English), one is left wondering what "other corners" the company has also cut on the production line to minimize cost.
That said, I did own commercial Norinco stuff... and none of it was impressive. Some of it was just plain dangerous, like safeties that would release a cocked hammer when the safety was being engaged! Better not have a round in the chamber, lol.... Safety ON, BANG!!! (without even touching the trigger)
Fine Norinco quality control strikes again, lol. Their Chinese military-issue stuff is OK for the most part, but their commercial-grade guns (all of them copies) are pure **** in my experience.
