Very nice work. I've heard that Norcs can be tough on the cutting tools did you find that?

I did mine years ago with the same jig, but with the benifit of a mill rather then a cutting disk. Didn't beat up HSS cutters any, so i didn't bother using the expensive carbide i'd had on hand to combat the stories of excessivly hard steel. I was lucky i guess, all my holes lined right up. If you search back 4-5 years you should find pics of mine on here as well.

Looks good. I bought an older Norinco commander for the same reason, although mine is still sitting, waiting for sights and a decision on what finish to put on it.
