Anyone reloaded Norinco 45 acp brass, specifically the ones that came with the 1911 plus 1000 rounds deal that was out a few years ago?

Was it actual brass or copper washed steel? I know their 223 is brass and it gets loose primer pockets real quick, I just toss norinco brass when I find it now, however I personally have never seen their 45 ACP

I have a good amount of Norinco brass in my 45ACP Large Primer pile (I'm pretty sure that's what the brass with the little triangle on the head stamp is), and several of them are on their 10th load, possibly more.
There is nothing wrong with them at all from my experience, in fact I'd take a bunch more if someone offered.

Sounds good as I have a couple hundred given to me from that lot. Just beginning to load 45 acp and thought I would start with them.

I load tons of it.
Great range pick up. Generally somewhat more tarnished and a slightly different hue than commercial cases.
Never had to ream the primer pockets.
I think the. 45 brass is great for reloading.
The.556 brass gets loose primer pockets after only a few reloads.

No probs. I've had issues on a few where the primer sealant was making seating primers harder. I just ream the primer pockets with my deburrer.

After wet tumbling I checked them over and they look better than the Federal or Winchester cases I have. Flash holes are more consistent in size and shape as well.
