Norinco Bush Ranger 7.62x39.

Bolt Rifles in 7.62x39mm

Don't have one but you probably get what you pay for. I've heard that you can get them to shoot okay, if you do a little work on them. Personally, if you want a bolt rifle in 7.62x39mm get a Rem 799 or CZ in it. Or one of the limited run stainless Ruger 77 MkII's....

Yeah I was looking at a CZ carbine today it was $550ish. I'll probably wait until I get the money to buy the CZ. I was just kinda wondering if I could get away with cheaping out and buying a Norc, Seeing as I've had good luck so far with their pistols.

Had one..then sold it on here about 2 1/2 yrs ago. Quality is about what you'd expect from China, fit & finish. Accuracy was great...with handloads and ok with Norc Silver box factory ammo. The trigger is fully adjustable which is a plus. They're a decent deer/bush gun for the price.

Yeah, the few Norc guns I've had have all had very good triggers, which is surprising given the otherwise ####ty workmanship and finish, and the uber cheap softwood stocks that almost feel like Balsa. Glassbedding has gone a long way towards improving the accuracy of the nork bolt guns I've had

are these availlable anywhere right now? haven't checked marstar for a while.... was thinkin of gettin one of these norc bolt guns.... just for szhitzngiggles

the canoe paddle stock looks interesting with the wood inserts :)

Yes, unfortunately that's what Ruger put on their earlier Model 77 MkII stainless rifles. Most had the green plastic insert panels. This one had the wood. :(

Personally, I'd like to get it bedded into a nice Boyd's pepper laminate.

i have one,im traing to sell it with no luck.if i had this rifle in my hands before getting one myself i would have never got one.not that its a bad rifle-it just doesnt fit me right

I can see getting a 7.62 x39 if you want a semi automatic-but for a bolt action rifle-why would you choose it?[I guess my preferance would be a swede 6.5x55,but I admit a prejudice for them]
