So my restricted application finally got approved today (woohoo!).

Ive been looking at the Norinco CF98 that marstar has, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with one. How it handles, takes down, shoots etc.

Also a big question is does it have smaller size grips? as I have tiny little baby hands. No retailer in my area carries it so I can't handle it before I buy.

plus im operating on a starving student budget here. I've eaten nothing but KD and Ramen for months to just afford a norinco. lol.

Seriously though, I love the look of the cf98 but havent found much on it so Im hoping someone here has experiences.

KD is about 2 dollar a box, Thats hardly cheap ( Used to be 4 for a dollar ) Buy a Ruger MKII,III or 2245 22LR then if your budget only allows you norc budget. Because you need to feed that and well 18$ a box of 9mm.

Someone on a budget shouldn't get into novelty pistols. Stick with well known designs where parts and service are accessible.
Liking the looks of a gun doesn't equal satisfaction.

I cant count how many times ive been burnt because I liked the looks and didn't care what the real opinions were

trust me you will spend less

I didn't have that great a budget so I saved a little extra and got a real Sig 226 and a 22lr exchange kit and the 22 exchange gets used way more than the 9 mm slide

plus training on the same lower its like having 2 guns in 1

I know you don't like sigs.. but there are l;ots of cheaper pistols with 22 kits

Smith-Wesson SD9 9mm. Its a brand name, got part availability, mags, warranty, aftermarket accessory, same price as your chinese "shrugs"
