Hi Guys,
Just picked up a Norinco Coach Gun with a 12" barrel... It has a sling mount on the stock, but I can't figure out where the front of the sling would attach. Has anyone fastened a sling to one of these guns, or did Norinco literally just chop down one of their longer JW2000 models and forget to put the forward sling mount back on?
Also, as I am new to side by side shotguns, are these guns safe to carry loaded with hammers uncocked and the safety on? I only shoot at a range currently, but if I were to take it up to a buddies farm (obviously obeying all discharge laws) should it be only carried unloaded? Just wondering if these kind of SxS shotguns with exposed hammers have any kind of firing pin safety to prevent discharge if dropped... Though I don't envision myself dropping it anytime, I don't want to have even the slightest risk of an AD. Could someone fill me in on the proper carry procedure for one of these?
