Norinco commander question

does anyone know what the tang radius is on the Norinco commander? Is it .250 or .220 or something else? I can't find my radius gauges.

I'd like to help you, but I'm not clear what you mean? The tang being that part by the hammer, right?

Or is it the rear part of the frame that has to be trimmed in order to install a beavertail grip safety?

I believe that Terry is correct. I don't know the radius however, but considering they copied the stock commander, I would assume it would be the same as the early (non-optimised) Colt gun. - dan

Yes, thats what I mean, the part of the frame the grip safety rotates around. I guess I will have to find my radius gages.
