Norinco CQ-A 5.56 Rifle picture thread

Please try to remember to open the action and #### the hammer before you open the upper and lower. Closing the upper and lower with the hammer forward is a bad practice and could lead to damage! The photograph you have shown with the hammer forward and the upper and lower apart shows me that you did not clear the rifle before playing with it.

Scott

forgive me i am new to AR type rifles i will keep this in mind do you have any other advice that will help me in my cleaning process

Thank you. The optic is a Docter style reflex sight that I got off a site that I can't remember the name. It's a clone but it works just fine. 3.5 MOA dot. About $150.00 cheaper than the Burris model.

Here's mine:

I know the quality control isn't amazing on Norincos, but what do you want for $3 a day? Just like the cz858 (some have "rapid-fire" issues), Lee Enfield no.4 mk5 (wandering zero on some), I could go on... Bottom line: damn good rifle for the price! Clean up the cosmetics, I'm sure she'll shoot great! (or he, I don't want to presume...) I'm always surprised when people comment on the finish. After all, you get what you pay for, and nobody here seems to freek out over driving domestic cars... (insert derogatory Ford/Gm/Chrysler comment here, depending on your experience):nest:

Amen brother...Amen. :)

Was that rapid fire? My AR-180B shoots much tighter than that.

Although the Norc does have alot more add ons and a way better forestock.

A decent looking rifle, just wondering if they are capable of sub 1MOA groups.
