Norinco cq-a arrived today

I like the new rifle - my next will be either one those CQ's or a Norinco M14... both inexpensive so less hard on the pocketbook to upgrade add accessories.

Is there a reason I can only seem to find the M4 version? Isn't there an M16 variant as well? (not that I have any beef with this one, I am just curious)

a quick off topic question. Does anyone know how long the ATT usually takes to get for your 1st time restricted firearm? I dont know if being in Quebec changes anything. But man its been 4 weeks and still no ATT.

I want my AR-15! lol

i paid for my 1911 on a friday, came back to the store the following monday, they called and the att was faxed within 10 min... id say just give them a call.. maybe they screwed up and forgot about you..

There is the norinco cq-311 which is an A2 style (non-flat top).
Accuracy and reliably reports are very similar to the CQ-a but it is a fixed carry handle and the finish is just plain bad.

I just got mine today too. Funny thing is i took pictures of it in the box and then opening it too. I know the gun laws here can be strict but thank God we still live in a country where you can get an AR-15 in the mail. My magazines were way shorter though. Barely go past the well for them.

Where did you buy your's at. If they are shorter they are probaly 5/20s ,and if they are like mine they are better than the Norinco 5/30s from some of the complaint's ive seen m4 owner saying. My 5/20s are Bushmaster i think.

SHHHHH dont jinx it lol:eek::stirthepot2::onCrack:

Norinco CQ 4

Saw one of these in the flesh at my local Firearms dealer.
It was being sold "used" for $799.00.
Trying to figure out if the shipping on a new one from Marstar ($699.00 +S/H)will make it even more than that, and if so, I think I should just buy on the one in the store.
Anyone bought one from Marstar living in SW Ontario who is willing to share their S/H costs on said order for a CQ 4?
