Norinco cq-a arrived today

Saw one of these in the flesh at my local Firearms dealer.
It was being sold "used" for $799.00.
Trying to figure out if the shipping on a new one from Marstar ($699.00 +S/H)will make it even more than that, and if so, I think I should just buy on the one in the store.
Anyone bought one from Marstar living in SW Ontario who is willing to share their S/H costs on said order for a CQ 4?

Walk away from that dealer :)

My friend bought his for under 700 NEW from his local shop.
800 bucks used is just being greedy.

Has anyone tried attaching one of these to their CQ yet?

BTW, has anyone used the CMMG .22lr conversion bolt in the CQ? I've read that notched hammers might have problems with the bolt.

THANKS A LOT POPEYEDPETE!!! THANKS... A... LOT....

After looking at your pics and reading some old posts I'm thinking about putting a hold on my other "wants" and get a cheap fun gun and dress her up in Magpul slut wear. w:h:

Shipping to Toronto for the CQ, NP22 and a "covert" firearms case was $29.06. They put the CQ and pistol in the case and shipped it in one box. I think it's a no-brainer. Enjoy!

ordered one, waiting for the postman to deliver.. should be in latest next week..

it is here. finish is acceptable. trigger is not bad. comparable to my colt. overall first impression. satisfied. we'll see how it performs on the range.

it was in a plastic bag so i am the first canadian to hold it in my bare hands from the chinese factory.

a quick off topic question. Does anyone know how long the ATT usually takes to get for your 1st time restricted firearm? I dont know if being in Quebec changes anything. But man its been 4 weeks and still no ATT.

I want my AR-15! lol

Mine took 17 days from order to shipping.
It's my first restricted rifle.
It's in the mail as we speak.

Are these rifles milspec or commercial specs?
Does anyone have a source for the large "D" baseplate loops for the LAR-15 mags?

Are you talking about Magpul Ranger Plates? Like the one shown here, but on a Lar-15 mag?

If so, they are available at a variety of places; I ordered mine (both for P-Mags and Lar-15 Mags) from Blaxsun here on CGN, great guy to deal with.
