Norinco CQ-a Chamber Markings

I am a little confused on the markings on the Norc AR15. Some of the ones I have seen are marked .223 / 5.56. Others are marked .223 or 5.56. So is the .223 / 5.56 marked one, actually a 5.56 NATO chamber. I am aware or the interchangeability of the 2 cartridges. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Those are just marks. You can use 5.56 ammo safely in .223 marked CQA. I am using green tip 5.56 ammo in myCQAA since 2015.
