Hi guys,
I fired around 150 rounds from my Norinco yesterday. What I noticed that it was throwing empties only 4-5 feet away.
is this normal???

what barrel length ? it makes a difference. You need the extractor "upgrade for some 10.5 rifles. Its an O-ring and a stronger spring to help with the ejection on short AR's.

The distance seems normal. I own the same rifle and noticed a difference in ammo used. Steel case, brass, 223, 5.56 they all eject slightly differently. I did have a hard ejection problem with steel case. The cases don't expand enough and blow back accumulates in the chamber eventually causing jams. I have cured the problem by adding 1 brass round every 5th. This self cleans the chamber. They say you can do 1-10 but I like 1-5. You really see the black crud on the spent brass. Best to shoot brass only if available but bulk brass ammo at a good price is hard to come by these days.
