Norinco CQ-A vs. CQ-B

Thanks ... I saw some in stock at a dealer labelled as CQ-B (both 14.5 & 10.5), but I just checked back and they are now changed to CQ-A ... ? So I guess it's not an issue anymore.

well the thing to look for when buying a 10.5 is ask the guy/girl at the shop to open the rifle up and take the bolt out of the carrier. ask if you can remove the extractor to check for a little rubber stamp under the ejector spring, if that rubber stamp isn't there then you defiantly are gonna have extraction problems. using the firing pin to remove the small pin that holds the extractor claw (who needs tools lol)

I would personally buy a 14.5. slightly better accuracy out of it cuz of barrel length. both run a carbine gas system. both use the same parts with the exception of the barrels.

Buddy got a CQA 10.5", had some issues with not ejecting brass, I happened to buy years ago a baggy of extractor buffers. Threw one in, it been running flawless since.

Was like 5$ for 10.

I bought my 10.5 in December, got it in late January. Mine must be the factory upgraded gun, I have shot around 1000 rounds and the only issue I had was on my last outting when I forgot my mags and had to borrow a LAR-15 mag with the grey follower, I had 2 rounds not feed right and the bullet actually pushed into the case. With the factory 5 rounder and the 2 LAR-15 mags I own (orange followers) I never had a single issue EVER.
