I use the Lee Factory Crimp die on my turret to avoid that, I also try not to get pubic hair around my reloading bench.

I just noticed though - I had to crank the windage dial all the way to the right to get my shots zero'd with the carry handle.

Did anyone else have this problem?

Yup... mine looks like this [....o.] and that's the same as my Stag.

I took the 4x leaper scope off my 10/22 and put it on with a $20 carry handle mount I got from Marstar. I haven't zero'd the scope yet; but it feels kind of high (is that what people mean when they say cheek well or whatever?). I think for the scope's more there for >50m targets. Quite honestly, the Elcan's I used on a C7 generally never broke, but I'm of the opinion that anything with glass or batteries is more prone to failure than something made of iron.

I had some bits and pieces laying around the house; patrol sling, a barrel/flashlight clamp adjuster /w pressure switch.

I also picked up a little bayo from the Calgary Gun Show - it needs some TLC; but it fits and it seems a hell of a lot nicer than the old school garbage CF ones (it almost looks like the ones the guy oversea's are getting issued). I'm sure that will come in handy against Zack and Zed Heads.

I'll post another range report after I zero my scope.

Any reason you decided to mount the scope on top of the carry handle rather than detaching the handle and mounting the scope lower?

I'm guessing to use the iron's <100 m, and the scope 100+

Ya. I use the iron sights up to 75 yards then a scope.
