Norinco CQA barrel dimensions + gas block instal

Hey Guys,

I'm sorry if this is a repeat question. I'm trying to find out the best way to put a low profile gas block on my CQA. Does any body know which size gas block i need? any additional help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

.750 if it's an M4 profile.
CanAm has some skinny barrel versions that take a smaller .625

I like clamp versions vs set screw.....lots of options out there though, but these are priced pretty good....the competition model.

Cut down the pinned front site. Far superior to any clamp-on or set-screw gas block.

Hack saw+file+sand paper+gun blue+oil= best low pro gas block available. I did mine while I was supposed to be drywalling... did it so fast that the wife didn't even know lol.

Definitely the way to go - they put those Norc blocks on reeeaaaaallllly well, why go with an inferior attachment when it's less effort to convert the one you already have

Sorry for all the noob questions. If I cut the front sight off, then I can buy a fore end or rail to cover it?

Depending on what type of rail you buy, you may have to cut off your delta ring.
