Norinco CQA "M4" does not feed HP

What country are you in this time?:)

Does anyone have a pic of their Norc M4 feed ramps? I'd like to see how they are cut.

My Norc fed those "value pack" HPs no problem... It was actually the first 40 rounds I put through the gun.

Just stick to FMJs though...that "value pack" still costs more than 2 boxes of bulk FMJ.

Any reason why a gunnut couldn't relieve those areas with careful use of a dremel and polish things up at the same time?

Technically yes, but I would think you would need a proper machine/gunsmith set up to make sure the relief areas were in the correct spot.

I would probably by simply to change out the M4 extension for a Rifle extension. As per Pobcat's post, the M4 feed ramps aren't really needed in AR15's since we don't shoot FA.

Ive used the same ammo in my new m4 bought from badger arms no problems at all. they were also the first and only rounds i have used for it.

P.S. Geologist are you still stuck working with all those nice looking women?

I did, & it works great, took 10 min with a die grinder, including cleanup. Now she feeds anything, from any mag. I made it look like the top right in that ar-15 pic;

Can you post some pics of how you did it? I'd like to see cause I know I'd screw it up without a referance.

This thread kinda goes along with an issue my Norinco is having untill it is "warmed up"
it seems to have an extraction issue, the spent casing gets stuck in the action when it reloads the chamber... hmmm
