Hey all. I'm looking to buy a Norinco NZ-85B, but so far I've read good and bad things about them. I've heard the Norinco pistols don't have a very good finish, and I was wondering if anyone has any Norinco pistols here, to please post pictures in this thread. Any angle just to show the finish, and also any Norinco pistol, preferably NZ-85B, but 1911 will work as well as any other one. Thanks in advance. :D

I haven't heard of anybody dissatisfied with the NZ-85b. General consensus is that it's one of the best Norincos. I have one and it's great, even the trigger :)

That's already a step in the right direction, I'm about 95% sure I'm gonna go for it, but I'd still like to see some pictures of them. It's kind of hard to find pictures of Norincos. So if you have any please post them. Thanks

honestly, my thoughts on the NZ. I do have norincos, and for the most part, they are good performers for the money. the 1911 I own does suffer only slightly in the fit and finish dept. The M305, out of box, same thing. I have seen the NP34 and CZ clones, and I thought the NP34 (at least the example I saw) looked like a horrid mess of a beginning machinists attempt at job placement. I would NEVER take that as a SIG clone. the CZ, was not as bad, but still, not quite CZ. For the price you pay for a CA, I would say spend the extra 250 and get a true CZ. Personally, I would find myself ass-kicking myself if I didn't. Best prices on CZ I have seen as of yet, are available at gunsnthings (thanks for the link nine!). pm for web address if you can't figure it out. (Not sure about posting this link with new rules). I am about to splurge and provide a new home to the 75 tactical sport....soon she will be mine ;) . Just my .02.

I saw some pictures at Marstar, I was hoping for a few more. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with a NZ-85B for now, as a first pistol, but later on, I will get something else, most likely not clone. But for starting I think this one should be fine.

The finish on any Norinco guns are never consistance. I saw very very nice and also poor on the same model. and thus buy what you can see infront of you and for me I won't go through mail order for Norinco gun. They are very good buy, if can inspect them before put money on the table.
