Norinco grease pot

Does anyone actually use the grease Norinco provides with their m14's? I did some searching and the major opinion seems to be that any old grease will do.

Simple white lithium grease in a syringe and plunger is all you need. If you ever attend one of the Hungry clinics, he has syringes filled for $2.00. Or make your own.

I am going to a local M14 clinic next weekend so hopefully I can get all my rookie questions out there. I was just wondering what the stock grease actually was. Mine seems about as viscous as 10w30 motor oil.

I heard it is Panda semen although I don't trust the source.

Chinese oil? I wouldn't go near that stuff without proper safety equipment. I replaced mine with a quality product.

the gi issued oil bottle had 2 ends one for grease and one for oil.
