Norinco HP9-1 question

I just recieved my Norinco HP9-1 from marstar, but noticed some corrosion on the shotgun.

Is this normal?

I don't think it is corrosion. But you can also call Marstar for a replacement.

looks like cosmoline to me. Take a cutip with some soap and water and see if it comes off a bit.

It's branze that's used from welding the rails to the tube. It's quite normal. Some look worse that others, but it doesn't affect the operation of the gun.

Look at a Remington, they are like that too.

Yep, over-run from the brazing. Don't worry about it.

just clean and lube it..

Just got mine this morning,same thing.......if you are worried,just spray a bit of BBQ paint on the braze.
