Is there any idea of what models and when Norinco shipments arrive in Canada? I have several models and while they don't generally have the fit and finish of the originals, neither do they carry the same price tag.But as far as function and accuracy, they are pretty much on a par.Not collectors but good working guns and if that's what you are looking for, they are good value. The main issue seems to be supply ,and when a They're gone they're gone....I'd like to see the JW 21 (94/22 knockoff) again....looked at them ,read the reviews but hesitated...my latest aquisition was the JW15 13'' barrel shorty - great grouse gun

Looks like there are only 2 models right now in Canada the JW 15 reg and short ( 13 in ) and the JW 25a .

I think there are only 4 on line dealers that have some in stock , their prices are moving up .

I don't think we will see the JW 21 again .

The only wood stock one right now is the JW 25a , the JW 15 is now only in a black plastic stock form what I can see.

Just received a JW 25a , Very good fit and finished , bolt is pretty smooth right out of the box better than my JW 15 was . The safety is a bit stiff but the JW 15's safety is smooth and positive lock up .

The SN522's action is a big step up from these two .

For a value based 22 rimfires , they are a great bang for the buck , more so for those who enjoy tinkering and tweaking their toys .

I had a jw21 straight stock. Didn't shoot it much but boy did it seem accurate. Actually seemed decent except maybe the bluing was a bit lacking

Norinco rifles seem to come in batches, once they are gone there doesn't seem to be restocking.I know they are sold in New Zealand ,but what their supply is like,I don't know.

JW-21B are still available in Canada. BELL Outdoors has stock and there are another 200 on order, expected by late summer.

I thought I heard one of the sponsors say a few years ago that they weren't being made anymore because there is too much hand fitting to be done to make them, they were being dropped in favor of more automated models.

Hopefully you're right and they are bringing them back due to demand. I liked the look of them, though I never did get to try one.

The JW21 came in two models, the Marlin lever action and the Winchestor 94/22 copies....do you know which Bell has in stock or is importing?

you'll need to go through you're local firearm shop since Bell is a distributor. Where are you located? I can let you know the nearest store that can help you.

Thanks, I talked to them and they have the rifles in stock, ready to ship to the gunstore who I will order though. But with the Canadian dollar ,prices are significantly higher than a couple of years ago.

I don't know what the other norinco rifles are like but I had a norinco 22 lr. about 25 years ago. it was a take down tube fed pump that was incredibly accurate .I wish I never sold mine. I haven't seen one in years. I don't think they make them anymore but wish they did.

Norinco makes a number of models, all copies of well known brands.Generally they aren't as finely finished but are well made and accurate .The JW 15's are BRNO knockoffs as is the ,JW 20 Browning SA and NS 522 target rifle is probably as good as you can get...including hammer forged barrel.

Hi

JW-21B the Winchester copy , I believe the JW-21a was the Marlin copy with a shorter barrel than the 21b model .

Hope that right .
