Now, if I could find the NEF in 500s&w somewhere...

I checked their website again (just drooling, as usual), and I saw that the Handi-Rifle is available in "new" 500S&W I wonder though, if it's been available for a while now but we just haven't got it in canada yet? If that were the case, perhaps there's a 7.62x39 in the works that we don't know about? Groundless speculation on my part, I know I had too much coffee today!

About the magazines:

What are the JW103 magazines like? What are they based off of? Is there any way to get an SKS to use the JW103 magazines?

I like my bush ranger, it has bagged a deer already since I purchased it. But like the other have said you have to bed the action and float the barrel to get it to shoot well.

Yea I wondered about the theoretical conceivability of using 103 mags in an SKS.

what would be the purpose of such an endeavor?

Besides, if memory serves (alothough it seldom does), the JW mags are single stack and would thus be awfuk narrow in the SKS's magwell.
