I had one and sold it. Neat little gun but rough action and couldn't fit any regular scope on it with regular rim fire rings...bold smacked the turret or wouldn't open all the way. I tried 4 scopes. Might be a good red dot candidate. Decent plinker accuracy with the open sights. I sold mine for $300 used so $289 seems pretty good.

My buddy bought one of the semi-auto norinco jw's because it was really cheap. Needless to say he regretted his purchase almost immediately.

CAme across a jw14 years ago for an absolute steal. No real regrets here. Ya the trigger isn't great, it's crude all around though it shoots. Had a jw14 mini Mauser and it was better built while shooting the same.

Good price considering the overall inflation, it feels like at least a decade since they were last around and the price is still about the same.

Like most Norinco's there may be some rough edges here and there that can use some smoothing out but most of them shoot well and they can use CZ magazines.

I bought one of those semi auto JW-14’s for my son years ago. I think they were 169 at the time? Anyway that thing is incredibly accurate and absolutely reliable. I have been super impressed with it. Action and trigger are rough but it just works.

Well ya got me with this one Tenda. I passed on these a long time ago and regretted it since. Not making that mistake again. Thanks.

I have one, they are outstanding little rifles, I shoot Aguila 60 sub sonic of of it although it seems to like everything. Takes CZ/Brno magazines.

Will its magazines fit CZ457?
