Norinco JW-15a

not sure on that note but I can tell you it feels a hole lot better than the Chiappa m1 remake which has pastic pieces all over it. Im taking it to the range this morning to try her out. Only thing to some is mag capacity but I like the lines of the five round for over all appearance.

I picked one up,it's just as accurate as the regular length JW15 ,which is just as accurate as my BRNO.The only difference between the 13'' short barrelled one and the 24'' one us the shorter barrels is perceptibly louder. The shorter barrel doesn't lend itself to open sights well so I put a 2 1/2x scope on it and use it for a grouse gun,and it served that purpose handily .I do gave a couple of 22magnums,but find the regular 22LR quite acceptable ,and actually use the lower velocity 'quiet 22' shells which are very accurate.
It's not as finely finished as my BRNO ,but I find the action smooths out with some use. This is a working rifle, not a show rifle

I got the shorty and the full size, both were 1000 times smoother and better finished then the JW25 I had.... Not bad guns.

I really enjoy shooting mine with quiet rounds. It's actually quite accurate inside 50yrds with the Simmons 22mag fixed 4x scope.
I don't know how many rounds its seen now but it never fails to shoot, not ammo sensitive and the bolt is very smooth.
It's one of my favourite .22's in my cabinet. A great little plinker that you don't have to be delicate with….

Apart from a few models, the Norinco knock offs are 'truck guns' -accurate and functional, ideal for the purpose intended .Some models are better than others.I have several,a couple of JW 15's and a JW23(22 magnum model) The exceptions are the better finished JW 20(Browning SA knockoff ) and a NS 522.target rifle.I looked but didn't buy a 94/22 copy....probably should have, once they sell out ,it seems they don't come back on the market

I guess I worded my question poorly. I wanted to ask if these rifles are available in 22 magnum, in Canada.
