Just received a new JW 20 (Browning SA clone), and after de-greasing and overall clean-up, noticed the front sight is bent, almost 45 degrees to the left. When you sight from the rear, you cannot even see the "gold" bead on the front sight, it's that far bent. When I attached a laser bore-sight and looked thru the rear sight, the laser was spot on where it should be, in the middle where the front sight should be ! I'm going to take it to the range tomorrow to see where it is shooting, but I expect that the sight was accidentally bent (not purposely adjusted that way) Is there any way to bend the front sight true again, ie 90 degrees ? heat it up and a good whack with a brass hammer ? I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks
