I just received a JW 25a from Canada Ammo , it's one of the better Norinco's , metal to wood fit is very good , blueing is well done , the bolt is pretty smooth out of the box , the safety is rather stiff .
It is a full size rifle , solid feel and all metal parts including the trigger guard . The barrel is shorter and thicker than it's brother the JW 15 .
Now both can use some fine tuning to smooth out the rough parts , bolt , mag , trigger assembly ect . some 600 grit sand paper and some elbow grease and they slick right up , pretty easy to do but not required , they shoot well just give them a good cleaning and your good to go ..
JW 25a full wood stock is a heavier than the JW 15 with the plastic stock , there is about a $ 10.00 difference in price .
The Best Nornico I think is the Target SN522 , they come up on the EE once in awhile , infact there is one right now for $ 300 .00 . thats a good deal , I would buy it but I have two now ......
If you have a Bigger wallet then look at Ruger , Winchester , Remington , CZ ect , these have a better fit and finish but cost more .
Hope this helps.
Canada ammo has the JW 25a for $229.99 with free shipping and I think Bull Eye in Lonndon has the JW 15 for $ 219.99 and free shipping .
I hopes that helps !!!!!!
