Just looking for some feed-back/opinions on these little guns. Only disadvantage I see is lack of iron sights. Have a slew of surplus ammo for my SKS, hence the JW103. Retailers up here just want way TOO much for the CZ527 compared to American retail of US$711.00

So, look forward to hearing back; good, bad, or ugly. Many Thanks.

PS: Guy at Marstar found me the last one they had (apparently on "hold" for a no show for near one year). Chap was really on the ball.

After I had purchased a CZ 858 and an SKS, I had the same thoughts as you, Jetss, as far as the ammo was concerned. I thought a cheap bolt gun in that round would be cool.

I ordered the 103, on the assumption that it would be of the same quality as my JW15A in .22 cal.. I was dissapointed. I ignored the quality, took it out to the range, as was dissapointed all over again with the accuracy.

You get what you pay for. If you want to shoot tin cans at close range for cheap, get it. If you're looking for something better, pay out the extra $$ and go for the CZ.

I sold my 103 at a considerable loss so I could fund a different rifle. In the meantime in order to shoot the 7.62x39 at a slower rate, I picked up a Baikal IZH hinge gun, and I converted a Lee Enfield to shoot that round also. I'm mounting a scope on the LE, and will come back with an accuracy report on my thread featuring this rifle.
