Sigh.... I have absolutely no money and a maxed cc, but I couldn't control myself... Just ordered....I'm in need of a serious intervention. But I somehow convinced myself I need another .22 ...good grief....now I just need to sneak it into the safe and I'll be home free. I have the luxury of having a wife that can't differentiate between my rifles. Hehehe. Oh 12 left...:)

I have an older JW14, and the newer plastic mags work much better than the older metal ones mine came with. Its different to take apart but not bad once you know how. Mine is very picky about being clean - accuracy suffers and things start to gum up after about 100 rounds, no matter the ammo. But its a fun, robust .22 that's good for short range plinking. Mine is currently out of action, something broke in the trigger group and I haven't had a chance to fiddle with it yet.

I also have a Marlin 795. If you can only afford to have one .22 rifle and want something in the cheaper price range, I highly recommend the Marlin, but the Norinco is good at being what it is.

I don't know for certain but they look like a copy of the Squires Bingham model 20 except for the trigger housing is aluminum or zamak. The Squires Bingham trigger housing is polymer.

I would like to be able to get complete trigger group assemblies for these babies! :p
I think you are right, It'd be my guess that some of the parts would be interchangeable to

If anyone ends up with their Champion 25 round banana, and has trouble with it, please see my thread/posts about needing to file a small amount off the sides of the grey part...the part that enters the mag well. There's a little rib of plastic that makes it a few microns thicker, probably to fit the M70, and in MY JW-14, that was causing the mag to "pinch" together just enough to prevent the next round from popping up.
I am happy to answer more specific questions by PM, but when you get the mag, you will see this "rib". Try YOUR rile first though, because they are not going to be all exactly the same!
You may NOT need any filing.

If anyone hasn't seen this:
This is my JW-14 from SFRC, with the Champion banana (which I painted btw)

Watch out for flying brass!
And yes, I had forgotten to put my glasses on this one time...I did put my ears in. This rifle has a nice "crack" to it actually, with the CCI Blazers, as the video shows...
As I have mentioned before, I have actually, with the Champion mag, had it cycle with CCI Quiets, and it will function is a SPBAR with shorts! Being careful of course.

As always, when shooting with those low-power rounds, be SURE your projectile has targeted/left the barrel! I have never had that happen, but I have heard of it with those "Aquila" back yarders caps...

Five days! One SKU number! I am sure the shipping department has been busy. Mine should be here Friday. Come on CGNrs. One left. Give yourself an inexpensive Xmas gift!

I was one of the first to order, but living in BC it'll take a bit longer to get to me. But, I would like to send HUGE PRAISE to SFRC. There was a bit of a mix-up with my shipping. I phoned when I discovered the problem and was assisted by a VERY helpful, super friendly lady (I wish I could remember her name) and she made everything perfect. So Ryan, if you know which lady was answering the phones on Tuesday at about 12:30 (Pacific time) that helped me, you make sure to pass on my thanks. This was my 3rd order with SFRC; I have never had a problem before and, with the SUPERB service I received, I will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you to the whole team out there!

Only 5 days since you started this thread and now over 8200 views and the rifles are sold out.
Ryan should probably send you a couple of extra mags for this rifle for helping out with all those sales!
Merry Christmas to you! Good job.

Ok, now that I bought mine and have no problem if they sell out, let me help you be aware of this sale. Just in time for your kid's Christmas (or for the kid in all of us!)
