so ive read around and it seem people don't recommend heavy loads in the norinco jw2000 I have the short barreled version and was going to see what federal black cloud would pattern like in it. I have put a good number of slugs through it and it seems fine the forend likes too loosen up after 100rd or so of any shell.

I had one of those crap shotguns and the first time I shot a three inch 00buck the stock cracked wide open and I'm standing there with some stock parts laying on the ground.
I'm just glad it didn't blow up in my face.

On Tenda web page it does say 'not recommended for heavy loads'

I don't really shot any 3 inch mainly because im set up to reload 2 3/4inch and the odd 2 1/2 inch. bought this as a range toy but would like to see if I can use it in the canoe for waterfowl pretty much the only shotgun I have that I would shoot steel in

THIS THE INTERNET SO DON'T E V E R believe ANYTHING you read, especially if it can harm you.......

that being said, a 3'' shell in a modern 2 3/4 '' chambered shotgun is NOT going to blow up your gun......
in a shotgun like an ITHACA FEATHERLIGHT model 37, ( with 2 .75'' chambers ) it will kick like ,well LOTS !!!!!

Those guns are poorly fitted and the wood seems as if cut and shaped while wet then shrunk causing alot of stock and forearm cracks. Heavier recoil amplifies the forces

Personlly i think theyre a black powder or light load gun. Its your face and other body parts
Wortners in chatham sells bismuth loads

I don't know if the jw2000 has 3 inch or 2 3/4 inch chambers but the OP didn't indicate that was what he wanted to do anyway.

no I have some 2 3/4" black cloud ammo its supposed to pattern well out of a cylinder bore. I originally bought this as a range toy but its the only shotgun that I currently have that does not have an adjustable choke(old not the new poly chokes)
