I got this gun used and it was missing the hand guard band.... Didn't realize and shot and loved it, but I am reluctant to shoot until I get this band replaced. I have tried unsuccessfully to source the part out. I have no options but to try and create the part. If anybody has one could you please supply detailed pics with measurements that would be great!! It kills me to open the safe and pass it up again and again...

PS Handguard band not the barrel band
 
A standard K98 rear band (Handguard band) should work... albeit, on a K98, it is held in place with a spring steel clip, on the JW25, it is just held in place with a little pin through the wood stock...

I believe Marstar carries the K98 Sling Band...

$15 I think... Buy a K98 sling from them while you're at it if you don't already have one.

I'm not absolutely 100% positive if the K98 band will fit the JW25... I'm only 99% sure... I can check when I get home (I have both).
