Norinco JW25 issue

I have taken issue with my Norinco JW-25...

It never would have happened if I had just been content with the Savage BV I usually shoot, which prints 1/2" groups at 50 with the usual Winchester and Federal suspects and hates things like Stingers and Quikshocks.

No, I had to get a Norinco that outshoots the Savage with Stingers.

HA HA. I went through the same turmoil when I got mine. It's a tac-driver. I shoot it at 200m to make it more challenging. Great fun, cheap, nothing to break = love it. It's my cheapest gun, and it goes out more than the others.:D
 
I have a JW-25a, which type of ammo do you guys find the most accurate? I like the CCI blazers. Anything that's not copper jacketed or from wal-mart

EDIT: It doesn't seem to like high velocity stuff either. I have found the standard american eagle 40g's are good, as well as the standard fiocchi 40g's.

It turns out Bubba was in the neighbourhood when I bought mine because the front sight housing was sawed off. I didn't notice this until I looked online and saw that the front sight on mine looked different than marstar's webpage. I actually bumped the front post the other day while scrambling to get a grouse and it's shooting 5 inches to the right at 25 yards.

Also, does anyone have any 10 round mags they'd like to sell? I've been checking marstar's site daily and it doesn't look like any came in the November shipment :(
 
I have had the best luck with federal 40 gr hollow points 1280 fps... ive tried the winchester bulk (which feeds well but is the s**ts) and cci. I found for the price the federal has worked the best for me with no issues what so ever. Im just using the iron sights, which are off set to the right a bit....might try to gently adjust them. It is a fairly accurate rifle and I am starting to get really nice groups though.
 
Federal bulk pack shoots the best out of mine; out of 12 types of ammo tested. Next best was CCI Minimags and then American Eagle 40 grain lead solid tips.
