Norinco JW25 tips, tweaks, mods etc?

Hey, one is in the mail, I know there are lots of you that have them. This is the Mauser look alike, and supposed to be quite accurate and reliable.

Just curious about any little tips, tricks, mods etc, that you all might suggest?

Mag sources? Ammo preferences? what to look out for in cleaning certain areas? "don't do this" kinda things etc.

Buy a CZ mag for it. They feed a lot better.

which CZ? 452 I hear? I also hear that some work and some don't. Is there a way I can tell before I buy it if its going to work or not?

I bought one for a 452 and it works great.
The factory Norinco mag didn't work very well. Shells would nose dive into the front of the mag and the spring was hanging up the odd time.

Take the bolt apart and clean it. Its also the same as the 452 bolt. The shipping oil is thick.

Triggers can be a bit gritty,but the JW-15(same action) I have is a pretty accurate shooter.They also seem to rust quicker than my other rifles so keep it oiled

I would have bought one from Marstar, they were cheaper, even without free shipping, but I got mine at Canada Ammo. They may have some in stock too.

My father inlaw has one the finish is very nice. From Mastars hopefully they will get more soon.
