Chaparral arms has come out with a nice 1897 shotgun, so maybe they have plans to make a functional 1887?

Shot several hundred rounds thru the norinco lever and loved every second of it... only dislike about it is when the hull fly's back and knocks you in the forehead... aside from that its a worthy piece in any collectors safe BUT have it worked over by a qualified smith to solve the out of battery issue.
