Norinco M-213 sights - ideas?

So is anybody planning to do anything about the sights on their M-213?
In the past I've added a bit of white-out to the front blade on my handguns, but on those ones the front blade was larger and the slot in the rear sight was larger, too. On the M-213 the front and rear sights are just too small, period. I've never installed a fiber-optic sight on a gun, but I do have a Unimat lathe and so I'm thinking I might take a run at it. Any thoughts? Anybody had experience with this? Anybody already successfully modded the sights on their M-213?

I found the same thing - my old eyes really like the sights on my Spartan - adjustable rear and fibre optic front. The 213 is dovetailed for the rear so may not be a problem to install an adjustable but the front seems to pinned like my old Sistema Colt. Whiteout??

I guess it depends on what you're aiming at. For me shooting at white with thin black line targets the stock sights are fine. But I can sure see that if I was shooting at those black tell-tale targets how the black on black sights would suck.

A little .22 revolver I got recently had a dab of tough white paint on the front sight and because of the style of target I'm shooting at I hate it. It's solvent city for that puppy!
