Norinco m 93? What's it worth?

My best guess...the pin visible on the far left, but true to be told...once that happened I knew I'm done with Norinco, so I didn't care to check. As I said, that was my third try and third disappointment. I just packed everything and sent back to the vendor.

M93 was my first .22 pistol, I got it for $150 new around 2007. it's actually been pretty reliable, fun to shoot and had a decent accuracy! I replaced it with GSG and no regrets! As for the price they are no longer imported which means no supply. and since it was the cheapest .22 available dont expect one for less then $150 used! So $200 is not completely unfair if you like it.

After shooting my M93 for the first time yesterday and bringing to the range again today I'm impressed with the accuracy. Already figured out it really likes the CCI stingers.

Haven't cleaned it yet. Looks like a pain in the ass to do.

Don't attempt to take it down.

Remove the grips with care and give it a spray down with break cleaner followed by some WD40 once it's dry.

Offer 125 if you are interested. He will do a counter offer, see what you want to do from there.

I personally won't touch these pistol with a 10 foot pole. I'd put a little more money and buy something that can last a lifetime. Roger come into mind.

What experience justifies that statement?

For a starter, goo back a page or 2 you'll see an example of a pistol literally falling apart.
A friend of mine had one that kept getting fte
They are know to be extremely ammo picky
They is a bunch of report of this just being an unreliable firearm
I don't like the look (I know it personnal)

I prefer put a little more money and buy something that will last a lifetime.

But if this pistol work for you, go ahead, I am not someone to tell others what to do with their money.

What I glean from this is that you have no hands on experience with this pistol. Am I correct in that statement?

Yes, there are lemons out there. I'm fortunate enough to have never experienced one so far.

Yes, they are a $200 gun and not worth much more.

Still, very good value for the price IMHO. To upgrade you're talking an additional $200 min.

I love mine, cheap, loves bulk pack blazers, reliable, absolutely no problems.
The safety Is a little stiff, some love can help it but don't really need the safety anyway.

Great bang for your buck. I think 175 new (plus shipping)

Only downside is the mags are expensive and can be flimsy if you beat it up.
Full take down can be a pain but ok once you get used to it.

I'm a fan of buying quality, but it seems the only quality semi auto 22 is more in the 400+ area.

Its the idea of paying more money for a used chinese clone than it was worth new that makes me say this is a bad deal. Like another guy said, offer 125 and see what happens. Used Rugers and Browning Buckmarks can be often had on the EE for as little as 275 or 300, so that's a no brainer for me. All the Nork lovers can say what they will, but 75 or 100 bucks more gets you a significant increase in quality. I have never seen a Ruger or a Browning break up into a bunch of pieces before. Those pistols are also made in the states and not by a 12 year old at gun point.

...remember, there is no need to disassemble the bolt, so as you are racking the slide, hold the pin on the top of the slide down. This will releave the spring tension on the slide while locking the bolt in place on the slide.
