norinco m-93 woodsman/sportsman

Cheap gun, period.

Cheap to acquire,
Cheap to shoot,
Cheaply made.

But fun to shoot.

Trigger is hard and gritty, sights are average, disassembly/reassembly is a b!tch, picky on ammo (alot of light primer strikes, jams alot.) Had mine for a few years and sold it recently to get a Ruger.

They sometimes pop on the EE section for less than 100$

PoFF,

I dont mean to be rude but...
The Trigger is hard and gritty? Maybe you got a lemon because I bought 4 at the same time and not one had a gritty trigger..are you familiar with cleaning colt 22s?

Picky ammo? Refer to cleaning, I have cycled anything through all of them and picky is the last word i would use. Never mind Jams a lot.. never had a jam in all four pistols. NOT EVEN ONE.

How much was your ruger? I have a MKII and a single six, they both cost more than four times that of the m93. Mind you they are no where no where near the accuracy, but that was not part of your argument.

I can testify to the odd light primer strike. They really are a good value though, all things considered. If your looking for a gun that feels nice in your hand, this is not it though. Lots of sharp corners, annoying mag release and the feel of the grips leave a lot to be desired. Mind you I've had mine for about 2 years now and wouldn't sell it, even though eventually I might get a Ruger as well.

I've had mine for years, Its probably burned nearly a case of ammo. It's reliable with everything I've fed it (mostly really cheap stuff), and reasonably accurate. The rear sight has shot loose, so I'm thinking of upgrading the sights or scopeing it. These days it mostly travels to the range for other people to plink with. It's a fairly small grip and a fairly short reach to the trigger, so it's great for kids.
