Norinco M14 "M305A" 18.6" 7.62x39 (Non-Restricted) has arrived in Canada

I have had good accuracy with my norinco new production ammo I'm sure anything other then "cheap surplus" could be rly good, depends on a lot of factors

The mini 30 has a reputation for having trouble with surplus and steel ammo ... not everyone has this problem, but many people do report that and factory mags are hard to find and are expensive, but valid point on price (however, new products to market tend to be higher and tend to fall in price over time).

I'm certainly "interested", but I'll take a wait and see approach.

...and Norinco is better? LOL
Sorry, but Norinco M305 quality ain't what it used to be.

"Would last round hold open work with an AK mag? I know there is no last round hold open with an AK."

Thats what I was wondering. Anyone know about last shot hold open?

it does not with regular mags. i never had a chance to try a Yugo mag, never saw one of those mags in real life. i doubt they are any to be had in Canada anyways.

I never said norinco is better, but if it fires steel cased ammo reliably, well then it would be better in that aspect at least.

Plus, ak mags are cheap and one retailer is trying to bring in 10 round pistol ak mags.

But, admittedly, this rifle is an unknown and who knows how well it fires and how accurate, etc. Msrp is a bit high too.

In stock and ready to go
