Norinco m14 or Ruger mini 14?

Good luck in finding a mini14 right now. I've been looking for a new one for weeks now and everyone is telling me that they are back-ordered till 2014.

A used (looks like new) target model is sitting in the rack at International Shooting Supplies if you are interested.

And picking up 30rd mags for the mini 14 is easy as cake, I just picked up 6 plastic and 6 metal ones.

Where? I haven't been able to find any (though I prefer the 5/20's).

I just picked up a new in box old mini 14. serial number starts with 187-, puts it as a 1982 vintage. I am wondering if the new magazines fit the old mini 14's. Als, where is the best place to get magazines?

In New-Brunswick the ruger mini 14 is a caliber that you are allowed to use it Oct. 1 to Dec. 1 and March 1 to Sept 20. The ruger mini 14 if you don't like it you will sell it very fast. I never had a brob with mine.
