Preliminary range report...

IMG_0325.jpg

Out of the box, free standing at 25 yards (indoor range), absolutely nothing done to the rifle other than wiping it down from all the grease.

First seven were test shots (random up top), then I got serious, standing up.

The rifle showed up at my door exactly one week after I ordered it, great service, great product, damn you SFRC, I love you, I hate you (I shouldn't post after a Martini).

6-M14 c/w 12 mags(plentiful extras for about $35ea) for about $3K or 1-FAMAE SG542 ERE Elite c/w 1 mag (extras maybe availible later at $135 ea as FAMAE has been historically fickle on supporting production long term) for about the same money.

both durable, both reliable, both about the same accuracy...

hmmm... which to buy... hmmm

Sorry to say, if you know your history....Norinco bought all the machines and tooling, and dies etc from the States in the 60's to make this M14, US sold it to start production of the M16 rifle take over in the military. This has been documented.

Your claims of COPY is unfounded, Yes, they do have quality standard issues, but their made off Old US technology machines from the Original Designs.

Sorry to say, but this is incorrect history.
