Yesterday I fnally got to the check out the contents of inside the rear stock of my M14S and part of its contents.
I was able to access the "tool" and the "bottle of oil" inside without any issues. It just basically came out effortlessly.
However, for some reason I am yet to determine, I could not access the "cleaning rod kit" at the bottom. I've tried pulling it out with a pair of pliers to get more grip on it, but to no avail.
Although, the storage compartment appears to be slightly canted, it appears that there is no obstruction at all on the path of the kit preventing it from coming out.
Before I ruin it for myself by forcing it, I am hoping to receive from tips from you folks. I have already e-mailed the gun store where I purchase this from, but he says that he currently doesn't have any M14S available to check to help me out.
Please help before I end up needing a new stock.
