Norinco M213 - ammo type not indicated

Does anybody else find it curious that the ammunition type to be used in the M213 isn't stamped on the gun?
Did I get the only one that doesn't have the caliber marked on the gun?
I know it's a 9mm Para - it says so right there in the manual (which in itself was worth the $99 ;)) - but I'm in the habit of checking the specs that are on the actual gun, regardless of what somebody tells me.

Does it say it anywhere on the barrel, I'm too lazy to go to the basement and check :p

I double checked and no, it doesn't say anywhere on the gun (or the magazines) the caliber of the gun.
Doesn't say it on the barrel either, at least not the part that's exposed when I pull the slide back.
Manual says 9 mm Para, and someone else's gun indicates 9x19mm.
On the gun - is it etched into the steel or ?
The only other marking on my gun, aside from the serial numbers is "CN 08 CA" and a capital letter "C" on the right-hand side of the trigger guard, and a small letter "k" on the other side.

Heres what it says on mine

Doesn't matter what it says on the slide, you have to read the barrel. Nothing on the barrel, measure the bore with a 9mm or 7.62mm round before you fire.
The 7.62mm won't chamber in my 9mm barrel, fortunately.
