I still see these things topping out at $150 (at least that is what I have payed and sold them for) yet lately pricing seems to be north of $200. Am I missing something making these worth more all of a sudden.
Well the ones in the surplus calibers are 179 before tax and shipping if need be. So for a little extra you get one in a common caliber 9mm. So yes the value is over 200 bones.
We are all regularly reminded that they were initially $99 + taxes + shipping when first sold (in 2011), but that deal is long gone, so now like everything, their price is determined by what sellers ask and buyers are willing to pay. If that's now $200, then that's "what they're worth".
I remember the $99 days too but it just seems 150-160 was the asking price 6 months ago. I like them but they don't fit my hand very well. The last 4 I sold I couldn't get more than $175 shipped for them. Oh well, it is what it is.
I traded a .22LR revolver for a BNIB Norinco 213 9mm a while ago,payed $250.00 for the revolver...shot it a lot...bought a SAA in .45 Colt so the .22 was redundant.
Saw my revolver on the EE listed for $400 and it sold so I quess my 213 is worth $400 now, seriously though the 213 is a nifty little gun and I think I will keep it.
I am not faulting the m213s... I do like them but I see the price creeping up yet much better pistols are hovering around the same price point for several years. $200 is cheap for any pistol, just an observation.
