dang straight, i would almost consider emigrating. just for the gun laws. but i guess it would have to be a state that is pro guns. i lived in burnaby b.c. when i got out of the services. used to go down to blain/ linden (? can't remember, over 10 yrs) washington . any way used to go to the gun shows. big signs every were saying canadians could take direct posseion. they had every thing. even these little key chain deringers that shot a 22, for like $5 in different colours. obviously i didn't buy anything, to parinoid that under cover rcmp were there and i'm a pretty stand up fella. but i would be lying if i told you the thought didn't cross my mind. the amount of military stuff alone was crazy. crap, m2 .50, grease guns, m14's ar15's, your imagination was the limit. i guess i don't have to tell you. i had the good fortune to fire a akm in germany. no your enemy kind of training. i would rather have a fnc1a1. but thats me. in closing, the sadest thing i seen was a officer brought back a brand new ak from some un mission. all legal. gave it to the weapons tec's to basicaly make it a dewat, it was to be used for a trophy. played with it up to the day it got nutured. what a waste. you made my day.
