I dont really care where they go except I had to move my scope forward because they were catching between the bolt and scope mount. How can you make the cases eject sideways?

Its a Sage EBR chassis. Who is treeline and whats the difference between the USGI and the Chinese ones?
The chassis doesn't matter regarding the ejection issues. Some scope mounts are quite low and obstruct the ejection of brass. The ejector and extractor springs of some rifles just seem to throw the brass in the wrong direction. Changing the spring tension changes the ejection pattern and often cures the issue. As such, the differences in USGI and Norinco springs is one of spring tension and sometimes even length.
