Norinco M4 CQ5.56 Reliability - You Decide

Sorry if this has been answered but I did a search with no results.

Anyone know if these latest Norinco M4s have extended feedramps like the real M4? How would I tell looking at mine?

I've got 3000 rounds through mine. The only issue i had was at about a 1000 rounds my buffer retention pin came out and jammed in my trigger. But with it now removed It shoots and cycles like a dream.

What will keep the buffer and buffer spring in place without the pin?

My buffer spring squeaks like a mofo when cocking the AR. Also the action isn't as smooth... Is this common? What can I do to fix the squeaks and creeks? Or is this just a normal thing with Norc AR's?

For what it's worth I have run 800 rounds through 2 tactical courses without cleaning in my norc AR with only a liberal dose of g96 at about the 350rnd mark and she still fires consistently.

At about 600-700 rounds, I have had 3-4 instances where I needed the forward assist after a mag change.

That being said, I think that has absolutely nothing to do with it being a Norc, just the amount of black sludge in there after I pulled out the bolt was pretty boggling. Just a function of direct impingement.

I have a Stag that does the same. Spring in the tube squeaks a lot. I lubed it a little and 2000 rounds later it's all gone.

BTW guys, what is the stock tube size on the new Norinco CQ-A models? Mil or commercial?
