Norinco M4 issue sling???

An old belt or bailer twine is better than the Norc sling. There are lots of better options.

BTW OP - I am actually an Engineer.....and I did figure out the Norc sling with research on CGN.....trust me, don't waste your time

Yup, what he said. I still have mine (the Norc sling), I think - still in its bag.

At least with the Norc M4 sling from the factory, you don't mind/care about butchering the nylon into a single point CQB mirror-Kommando sling. You can only make it better! Then buy a Vickers, Blue Force or whatever practical sling works for you for the more serious work/competition.

I'm assuming that you are handy with webbing and maybe a sewing machine, and you have some DIY sewing skills.

para-cord is better than that thing.... meaning you can use para cord at either end to secure it to the M4. Not bad for free. But you get what you pay for.

I was shooting H&K MP5's yesterday and they had a very similar sling on them in fact if I hadn't known better, I would have said that they were the exact sling that came with my M4. After a few hours of sending the better part of a lot of rounds down range, I determined that I absolutely hated that sling - and I really don't like the MP5 all that much either.

I believe you are right about the sling. It is the same design as the one for the MP5.
