Norinco M4 sling installation

Lol, I tossed the factory sling and put on a single point sling.
was easy to do, the package I got (from Cabelas) came with the castle ring too to assist putting the attachment ring on the buffer tube.
took 15 minutes.
 
It's basically a M1 Garand/M14 Sling. The hook clips to the rear sling swivel, so you can quickly unclip it, loop it around your forearm, tighten everything and use it to steady your rifle. The Americans stopped using it because it's totally impractical to try that in combat, and the metal parts were too loud.
