Norinco M4

Exactly which one? $400 or $800????
And after how long?????? it's been already a year and a half......

The $800 figure is the one I am hoping to see.
Did anyone REALLY think that $400 was a valid guess?

And yes, it has been a bit of a wait, but these do tend to take some time.
I first learned that CanAm was planning on bringing in Tavors back during SHOT 2006. That is close to 2 1/2 years ago. But it did happen.

M14/M305 is $400.00 from Marstar and upwards of $50.00-$150.00 from other sources for a plain jane with the toothpick wood....

...that's before half of it's owners go to town with accessories (or at the very least ~$100-$150 for a USGI stock, $30.00-$50.00 for a spring guide, a few others like $50.00 for Garand sights...)

So why wouldn't something in the range of $600-$800 be fair for a decent, plain AR?

The only thing I want would be some confirmation that it is imperial threaded and all sizing is compatible with either commercial or mil sized AR platform stuff.

Quite frankly there are several dealers I can totally trust to sell at good prices. I don't have to debate that. I consider it a given. My question on the M4 is simply........when?

Wait a second! What is going on here? Lector was just saying that these are already being sold in Canada. So are they or aren't they? Who is selling them and how much?

The columbian just captured a few hundred brand spanking new Chinese M16 awhile ago - it was quite a spectacle when they were all laid out rows and rows of tables with 2 mags for each rifle.

don't give any hope on price of this rifle it's gonna more expensive than the us made.

What would make you say that ? Marstar already stated that the price would be below major brands.

If it would be more expensive than the US made ones, then why bother importing them from china and spend even more on shipping ?

No kidding. Who would buy anything chinese if it costs more than a North American made version?

Since you've posted pictures of the rifle with grenade launcher attached, you're not assuming that the rifles will come standard with launchers are you? :p

If they do, scratch my original order for two and mark me down for three!! :dancingbanana:

I wonder if the mags supplied for the Norc AR ar like the ones supplied for the Type 97? The Type 97 are much more robust (they are heavier and seem to be slightly thicker) than any other AR mag I own. I wish Marstar would bring in type 97 mags as I would buy them in a heartbeat...the only problem is they apparently don't work in other AR's. All metal American AR mags I've tried work in my 97 though, although I've read PMags and Thermolds don't work in the 97.

Oh yeah! the Masterkey...

And Marstar; after you asked Norinco to make us copies of the Masterkey, please ask them to make us a functional semi-auto version of the M41A pulse rifle, as seen in the "Aliens" movie... basically, a Tompson smg action coupled with a rem870 action, wrapped up in a G36-style stock ! wouldn't that be great ?

We would also like from Norinco a portable semi-auto copy of the M134 minigun ;-)
