Are you talking about the cost including freight to get it here? Or just the cost before transit?

I was at Lever yesterday picking up some X39 tracer & asked about the M4's .
they didn't know when they would arrive .When asked about price they said they hoped to keep them under $1000. My guess is $995.00 (too much) .
But if Marstar is also bringing them in I'm sure they will have a more realistic price (Like they did with the M14's) One can only hope .

If the states wont let us purchase their products cause they are so paranoid we are gonna sell them on the black market , then why not buy from the Asian man!
I saw lever is selling a Cq model for 850 and it comes with 300 rounds of ammo! I hope the M4geries are around the 800 mark! Even if they arent
I'd still pay a grand for one!

I don't expect these to have the same sweat put into the fine details as an LMT or Colt Defence, but I sure as hell want one to shoot the *ss off. My Commander isn't the finnish/looks equivalent of a Colt, but it hasn't given me any reason to re-think the decision to purchase one, a couple of thousand rounds later.

for 995 might as well get the remmington r15 then add what you want.
at least it would be a localy built gun

Most were 5.56.
Only very few were in .222 caliber. Very rare. Almost collectible.
I don't believe Lever has any left.
