any thoughts, they look like not a bad gun for the price, how is the performance, was thinking of picking one up give her a paint job and a few accesories to trick it out, I recently bought a Norc 1911 and seems to shoot well and is built solid, just dont wanna waste my money and end up with a lemon. thanks in advance

I just got mine and really like it.

However, they are not easy to get the orig parts off so modding is a bit of a pain. US aftermarket stuff will fit.

Compared to other big name brand AR's I have seen and shot, I can't see much of a difference in the Norc. I am now working on seeing the type of accuracy I can draw out of the Norc which will be an interesting excercise.

The receiver and lower are certainly not polished the same was as a top tier brand but I am ok with that given the cost and intended use. I am also thinking about giving it some colour down the road.

Good stuff at a great price.
